حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ غَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ، وَتَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلاَةِ ثُمَّ اغْتَسَلَ، ثُمَّ يُخَلِّلُ بِيَدِهِ شَعَرَهُ، حَتَّى إِذَا ظَنَّ أَنْ قَدْ أَرْوَى بَشَرَتَهُ، أَفَاضَ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ سَائِرَ جَسَدِهِ. وَقَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ، صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ نَغْرِفُ مِنْهُ جَمِيعًا.
English Translation
Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha al-Siddiqa (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrates: Whenever the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) performed the bath of janaba, he would wash his hands and perform ablution as for prayer, then bathe. He would run his fingers through his hair until, when he was sure the scalp was thoroughly wet, he would pour water over his head three times, then wash the rest of his body. She also said: I and the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to bathe from a single pot — we would both take water from it together.
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب غسلِ جنابت فرماتے تو اپنے ہاتھ دھوتے اور نماز کی طرح وضو فرماتے، پھر غسل فرماتے۔ اپنے ہاتھ سے بالوں کا خلال فرماتے، یہاں تک کہ جب آپ کو یقین ہو جاتا کہ کھال خوب تر ہو گئی ہے تو سر پر تین مرتبہ پانی بہاتے، پھر باقی تمام بدن کو دھوتے۔ اور فرمایا: میں اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ایک ہی برتن سے غسل فرماتے تھے — ہم دونوں مل کر اس سے پانی لیتے تھے۔
