Arabic (Original)
وَقَالَ اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ رَجُلاً مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، سَأَلَ بَعْضَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنْ يُسْلِفَهُ، فَدَفَعَهَا إِلَيْهِ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى. فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) mentioned a man from the Children of Israel who asked another Israelite to lend him money, and the latter gave it to him for a fixed period. (The rest of the hadith has been mentioned previously.)
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے بنی اسرائیل کے ایک شخص کا تذکرہ فرمایا جس نے بنی اسرائیل ہی کے ایک اور شخص سے قرض مانگا تو اس نے اسے ایک مقررہ مدت کے لیے قرض دے دیا۔ (باقی حدیث کا ذکر پہلے گزر چکا ہے۔)
