حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّد بن عمارة بن صبيح حَدَّثَنا قبيصة بن عقبة حَدَّثَنا سفيان عن عوف عن خلاس عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوْلا بنوا إسرائيل لم يخنز اللحم ولولا حواء لم تخن أنثى زوجهاوهذا الحديثُ لا نعلم يروى إلا عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ولا رواه عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا خلاس عبد الله بن رباح اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوْلا بنوا إسرائيل لم يخنز اللحم ولولا حواء لم تخن أنثى زوجهاوهذا الحديثُ لا نعلم يروى إلا عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ولا رواه عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا خلاس عبد الله بن رباح
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Umarah ibn Subayh narrated to us, Qabisah ibn Uqbah narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us from Awf from Khallas from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: "Were it not for the Children of Israel, meat would not have spoiled; and were it not for Hawwa [Eve], no female would ever have betrayed her husband." This hadith is not known to be narrated except from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), and no one narrated it from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) except Khallas, [and] Abdullah ibn Rabah.
