حَدَّثَنا عمر بن الخطاب حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّد بن يوسف حَدَّثَنا سفيان عن يونس يعني ابن عبيد عن غيلان بن جرير عن زياد بن مطر عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ هكذا رواه سفيان عن يونس وقال حماد عن غيلان بن جرير عن زياد بن رياح وَحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ وَزَادَ فِي عَقِبِ الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ يَزِيدُ فَحَدَّثْتُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ فَقَالَ هَكَذَا حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ
English Translation
Ibrahim ibn Nasr narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Aban narrated to us from Qatadah from Muhammad ibn Sirin from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who stated: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "On every Friday the angels stand at the doors of the mosque writing down people in order of their arrival. When the imam comes out, the scrolls are rolled up and they listen to the reminder. The one who comes early is like the one who offers a camel, then like the one who offers a cow, then like the one who offers a ram, then like the one who offers a chicken, then like the one who offers an egg."
