وَبِهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اشتكت النار إلى ربها فقالت أكل بعضي بعضا فجعل لها نفسين نفسا في الشتاء ونفسا في الصيف فشدة الحر من حرورها وشدة البرد من زمهريرهاوهذا الحديثُ عن عاصم لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ إلاَّ حمَّاد بْنُ سَلَمة اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اشتكت النار إلى ربها فقالت أكل بعضي بعضا فجعل لها نفسين نفسا في الشتاء ونفسا في الصيف فشدة الحر من حرورها وشدة البرد من زمهريرهاوهذا الحديثُ عن عاصم لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ إلاَّ حمَّاد بْنُ سَلَمة
English Translation
And with the same chain, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The Fire complained to its Lord and said: 'Parts of me are consuming other parts.' So He made for it two breaths — a breath in winter and a breath in summer. The severity of heat is from its scorching heat, and the severity of cold is from its bitter cold. This hadith from Asim is not known to have been narrated except by Hammad ibn Salamah.
