وَحَدَّثَنا أحمد بن الحكم بن ظبيان حَدَّثَنا الحجاج حَدَّثَنا حمَّاد بن سَلَمة عن عاصم عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يؤتى بالموت كأنه كبش أعين فيوقف بين الجنة والنار فيقال يا أهل الجنة فيشرئبون وينظرون ويقال يا أهل النار فيشرئبون وينظرون فيذبح فيقال خلود لا موت اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يؤتى بالموت كأنه كبش أعين فيوقف بين الجنة والنار فيقال يا أهل الجنة فيشرئبون وينظرون ويقال يا أهل النار فيشرئبون وينظرون فيذبح فيقال خلود لا موت
English Translation
And Ahmad ibn al-Hakam ibn Zabyan narrated to us, he said: al-Hajjaj narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us from Asim from Abu Salih from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Death will be brought forth like a grey-horned ram and will be stood between Paradise and the Fire. It will be said: 'O people of Paradise!' So they will crane their necks and look. It will be said: 'O people of the Fire!' So they will crane their necks and look. Then it will be slaughtered, and it will be said: 'Eternity with no death.'
