حَدَّثنا أحمد بن منصور قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد الرحمن بن يونس قَال حَدَّثَنا سُفْيَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُيَينة عَنْ عَمْرو بْنِ دينار عَن أبي صالح عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال ثلاثة لا يكلمهم الله يوم القيامة رجل حلف على سلعة لقد أعطي فيها أكثر مما أعطى ورجل منع فضل ماء فيقول الله تبارك وتعالى اليوم أمنعك فضلي كما منعت فضل ما لم تعمل يداك ورجل حلف على يمين بعد صلاة العصر ليقتطع بها مال امرىء مسلم اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال ثلاثة لا يكلمهم الله يوم القيامة رجل حلف على سلعة لقد أعطي فيها أكثر مما أعطى ورجل منع فضل ماء فيقول الله تبارك وتعالى اليوم أمنعك فضلي كما منعت فضل ما لم تعمل يداك ورجل حلف على يمين بعد صلاة العصر ليقتطع بها مال امرىء مسلم
English Translation
Ahmad ibn Mansur narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Yunus narrated to us, he said: Sufyan — meaning Ibn Uyaynah — narrated to us from Amr ibn Dinar from Abu Salih from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said: Three persons whom Allah will not speak to on the Day of Resurrection: a man who swore concerning merchandise that he was offered more for it than what he was offered; a man who withheld surplus water, so Allah, Blessed and Exalted, says: 'Today I withhold My favor from you as you withheld the surplus of what your hands did not work for'; and a man who swore an oath after Asr prayer to unlawfully appropriate the wealth of a Muslim man.
