حَدَّثنا عُمَر بن الخطاب قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو اليمان قال أَخْبَرنا عطاف بن خالد عَن عَبد الرحمن بن أَبَان بن عثمان عَن سُليمان بن يسار عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال من أعتق رقبة مؤمنة أعتق الله بكل إرب منه بإرب منها من الناروَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ ولاَ نعلمُ يُرْوَى عَن سُليمان بن يسار عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ من هذا الوجه وعطاف ليس بِالْقَوِيِّ وَقَدْ حَدَّثَ عَنْهُ جَمَاعَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ العلم واحتملوا حديثه اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال من أعتق رقبة مؤمنة أعتق الله بكل إرب منه بإرب منها من الناروَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ ولاَ نعلمُ يُرْوَى عَن سُليمان بن يسار عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ من هذا الوجه وعطاف ليس بِالْقَوِيِّ وَقَدْ حَدَّثَ عَنْهُ جَمَاعَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ العلم واحتملوا حديثه
English Translation
Umar ibn al-Khattab narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, he said: Attaf ibn Khalid informed us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Aban ibn Uthman, from Sulayman ibn Yasar, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), he stated: «Whoever frees a believing soul, Allah will free for every limb of his a limb of his from the Fire.» This hadith has been narrated from Abu Hurairah through more than one chain. We do not know it to be narrated from Sulayman ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurairah except from this chain. Attaf is not strong, but a group from the people of knowledge narrated from him and accepted his hadith.
