وحَدَّثنا الحسين قال أَخْبَرنا عَبد الرزاق قال أَخْبَرنا مَعْمَر عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد بن الْمُسَيَّب عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنَّه قال ليلة أسري بي أتيت بإناءين في أحدهما خمر وفي الآخر لبن فقيل اختر أيهما شئت فاخترت اللبن فقيل لي هديت للفطرة أو أصبت الفطرة أما إنك لو أخذت الخمر غوت أمتكوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد بن الْمُسَيَّب أشهر من مَعْمَر وقد خولف في إسناده اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنَّه قال ليلة أسري بي أتيت بإناءين في أحدهما خمر وفي الآخر لبن فقيل اختر أيهما شئت فاخترت اللبن فقيل لي هديت للفطرة أو أصبت الفطرة أما إنك لو أخذت الخمر غوت أمتكوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد بن الْمُسَيَّب أشهر من مَعْمَر وقد خولف في إسناده
English Translation
Al-Husayn narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Razzaq informed us, he said: Ma'mar informed us, from az-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «On the night I was taken on the Night Journey, I was brought two vessels: in one was wine and in the other was milk. It was said: 'Choose whichever you wish.' So I chose the milk. It was said to me: 'You have been guided to the natural disposition (fitrah)' or 'You have found the natural disposition. Had you taken the wine, your nation would have gone astray.'» This hadith is not known to us from anyone narrating it from az-Zuhri from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib more famously than Ma'mar, and he has been differed with regarding its chain.
