Arabic (Original)
وَبِهِ وعَن أَيُّوبَ عَن أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ عَن أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلأَنْصَارِ وَلأَبْنَاءِ الأَنْصَارِ وَلأَبْنَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الأَنْصَارِ اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلأَنْصَارِ وَلأَبْنَاءِ الأَنْصَارِ وَلأَبْنَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الأَنْصَارِ
English Translation
And with it (the same chain), and from Ayyub from Abu Qilabah from Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him) said: «There will be differences and division in my Ummah, and there will come people whose speech will please you but whose deeds will displease you. They will recite the Qur'an but it will not pass beyond their throats. They will pass through religion as an arrow passes through game. They will not return to it until the arrow returns to the bowstring. They are the worst of creation. Blessed is the one who kills them or is killed by them. They call to the Book of Allah but they have nothing to do with it. Whoever fights them is closer to Allah than them.» They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is their sign?" He said: «Shaving (their heads).»
Urdu Translation
اور اسی سند سے، اور ایوب سے، ابوقلابہ سے، انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «میری امت میں اختلاف اور تفرقہ ہوگا، اور ایسے لوگ آئیں گے جن کی باتیں تمہیں پسند آئیں گی لیکن ان کے اعمال ناپسند ہوں گے۔ وہ قرآن پڑھیں گے لیکن وہ ان کے حلق سے نیچے نہیں اترے گا۔ وہ دین سے ایسے گزر جائیں گے جیسے تیر شکار سے گزر جاتا ہے۔ وہ اس میں واپس نہیں آئیں گے جب تک تیر کمان کی ڈوری میں واپس نہ آئے۔ وہ بدترین مخلوق ہیں۔ مبارک ہو اس کو جو انہیں قتل کرے یا ان کے ہاتھوں قتل ہو جائے۔ وہ اللہ کی کتاب کی طرف بلاتے ہیں لیکن ان کا اس سے کوئی تعلق نہیں۔ جو ان سے لڑے وہ اللہ کے زیادہ قریب ہے ان سے۔» لوگوں نے پوچھا: یا رسول اللہ! ان کی نشانی کیا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: «سر منڈوانا۔»
