حَدَّثنا أزهر بن جميل حَدَّثنا عَبد الوَهَّاب فِيمَا أَعْلَمُ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَن أَنَسٍ قَالَ نُهِينَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ؓ نُهِينَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ
English Translation
Nasr ibn 'Ali narrated to us: Abu Dawud narrated to us: Hisham narrated to us from Qatadah from Anas from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «If the son of Adam were given a valley of gold, he would desire a second. And if he were given a second, he would desire a third. Nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dirt. Allah accepts the repentance of whoever repents.»
