حَدَّثنا الحسين بن علي الجعفي حَدَّثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَن أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانُوا يَكْتُبُونَ صُدُورَ وَصَايَاهُمْ هذا ما أوصى به فلان ابن فُلانٍ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَوَقَدْ ذَكَرْنَاهُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عن محمد حَدَّثنا الحسين بن علي الجعفي حَدَّثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَن أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانُوا يَكْتُبُونَ صُدُورَ وَصَايَاهُمْ هذا ما أوصى به فلان ابن فُلانٍ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَوَقَدْ ذَكَرْنَاهُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عن محمد
English Translation
Nasr ibn 'Ali narrated to us: Abu Dawud narrated to us: Hisham narrated to us from Qatadah from Anas from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «Indeed, your Lord, Mighty and Majestic, says: I am the most deserving of those worthy of being feared. So whoever fears Me, let him not associate anyone with Me in fear. And I am the most deserving of those from whom forgiveness is hoped. So whoever hopes in Me, let Me be sufficient for him.»
