وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ وَقْتِ صَلاةِ الْغَدَاةِ فَصَلَّى حِينَ طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ ثُمَّ أَسْفَرَ بَعْدُ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ عَنْ وَقْتِ صَلاةِ الْغَدَاةِ مَا بَيْنَ هَذَيْنِ وَقْتٌ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ وَقْتِ صَلاةِ الْغَدَاةِ فَصَلَّى حِينَ طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ ثُمَّ أَسْفَرَ بَعْدُ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ عَنْ وَقْتِ صَلاةِ الْغَدَاةِ مَا بَيْنَ هَذَيْنِ وَقْتٌ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us: Abu Dawud narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us from Qatadah from Anas that a funeral passed by the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and they praised the deceased with good. The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: «It is decreed.» Then another funeral passed and they spoke ill of the deceased. He said: «It is decreed.» 'Umar said: What is decreed? He said: «This one, you praised him with good, so Paradise is decreed for him. And this one, you spoke ill of him, so the Fire is decreed for him. You are the witnesses of Allah on earth.»
