حَدَّثنا أسيد بن عَاصِم قَال حَدَّثنا عامر بن إبراهيم قَال حَدَّثنا يَعْقُوبُ الْقُمِّيُّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي الْمُغِيرَةِ عَن سَعِيد بْنِ جُبَير عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَقَدْ أَظَلَّتْنَا سَحَابَةٌ وَنَحْنُ نَطْمَعُ فِيهَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلِكَ الَّذِي يَسُوقُهَا أَوْ يَسُوقُ هَذِهِ السَّحَابَةَ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ يَسُوقُهَا إِلَى وادي كذا اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَقَدْ أَظَلَّتْنَا سَحَابَةٌ وَنَحْنُ نَطْمَعُ فِيهَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلِكَ الَّذِي يَسُوقُهَا أَوْ يَسُوقُ هَذِهِ السَّحَابَةَ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ يَسُوقُهَا إِلَى وادي كذا
English Translation
Usayd ibn Asim narrated to us, he said: Amir ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, he said: Ya'qub al-Qummi narrated to us, from Ja'far ibn Abi al-Mughirah, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out to us while a cloud was shading us. We were discussing. He said: «What are you discussing?» They said: 'The creation.' He said: «Reflect upon the creation of Allah and do not reflect upon Allah [His Essence], for He created what you do not know.»
