حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن مَعْمَر قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو عَبد الرحمن المقرىء قَال حَدَّثنا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْد قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَير عَن سَعِيد بن جُبَير وعَن طاووس عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يُعَلِّمُنَا التَّشَهُّدَ كَمَا يُعَلِّمُنَا الْقُرْآنَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم التَّحِيَّاتُ الْمُبَارَكَاتُ الصَّلَوَاتُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلَّهِ السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ السَّلامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبده وَرَسُولُهُ وَسَلَّم يُعَلِّمُنَا التَّشَهُّدَ كَمَا يُعَلِّمُنَا الْقُرْآنَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم التَّحِيَّاتُ الْمُبَارَكَاتُ الصَّلَوَاتُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلَّهِ السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ السَّلامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبده وَرَسُولُهُ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ma'mar narrated to us, he said: Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Muqri' narrated to us, he said: Layth ibn Sa'd narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Zubayr narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr and from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to teach us the tashahhud just as he used to teach us the Quran. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: «The blessed greetings, prayers, and good things are for Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.»
