حَدَّثنا عَبدة بْنُ عَبد اللَّهِ وَبِشْرُ بْنُ آدم قالا أَخْبَرَنَا زيد بن الحباب قال أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ عَبد اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيدة عَن أَبيهِ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ صَاحِبُ الدَّابَّةِ أَحَقُّ بِصَدْرِهَا وَالرَّجُلُ أَحَقُّ بِصَدْرِ فرسه
English Translation
Abda ibn Abdullah and Bishr ibn Adam narrated to us, they said: Zayd ibn al-Hubab informed us, he said: al-Husayn ibn Waqid informed us from Abdullah ibn Burayda from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The owner of the animal has more right to the front of his mount, and a man has more right to the front of his horse."
