حَدَّثنا عَبدة بن عَبد الله قال أَخْبَرَنَا زيد بن الحباب قال أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ عَبد اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيدة عَن أَبيهِ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم خَمْسٌ لا يَعْلَمُهُنَّ إلاَّ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَيُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الأَرْحَامِ وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ مَاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدًا وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ بِأَيِّ أرض تموت إن الله عليم خبير
English Translation
Abda ibn Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Zayd ibn al-Hubab informed us, he said: al-Husayn ibn Waqid informed us from Abdullah ibn Burayda from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Five things, none knows them except Allah, Blessed and Most High: 'Indeed, Allah alone has knowledge of the Hour, and He sends down the rain, and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.'"
