حَدَّثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبد اللَّهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ قَال حَدَّثنا علي بن حكيم قَال حَدَّثنا شَرِيكٌ عَن أَبِي عُمَر عَن أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَجُلا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فَشَكَا إِلَيْهِ جَارَهُ فَقَالَ يُؤْذِينِي فَقَالَ ضَعْ مَتَاعَكَ فِي الطَّرِيقِ أَوْ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الطَّرِيقِ فَوَضَعَهُ فَكَانَ كُلُّ مَنْ مَرَّ قَالَ مَا شَأْنُكَ قَالَ جَارِي يُؤْذِينِي فَيَدْعُو عَلَيْهِ فَجَاءَ الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ رد متاعك فلا أؤذيك أَبَدًا أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فَشَكَا إِلَيْهِ جَارَهُ فَقَالَ يُؤْذِينِي فَقَالَ ضَعْ مَتَاعَكَ فِي الطَّرِيقِ أَوْ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الطَّرِيقِ فَوَضَعَهُ فَكَانَ كُلُّ مَنْ مَرَّ قَالَ مَا شَأْنُكَ قَالَ جَارِي يُؤْذِينِي فَيَدْعُو عَلَيْهِ فَجَاءَ الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ رد متاعك فلا أؤذيك أَبَدًا أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that a man came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and complained about his neighbor, saying: "He harms me." The Prophet said: «Place your belongings on the road.» So he placed them, and everyone who passed by asked: "What is the matter?" He said: "My neighbor harms me," and they would invoke curses upon the neighbor. Then the man came and said: "Take back your belongings; I shall never harm you again."
