حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زَيْدٍ الْأُبُلِّيُّ قَالَ نَا الْحَرُّ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ نَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا قَوَدَ إِلَّا بِالسَّيْفِ قَالَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا أَسْنَدَهُ بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْ هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا قَالَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ إِلَّا الْحَرُّ بْنُ مَالِكٍ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ بِهِ بَأْسٌ وَأَحْسَبُهُ أَخْطَأَ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ لِأَنَّ النَّاسَ يَرْوونَهُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ مُرْسَلًا قَالَ لَا قَوَدَ إِلَّا بِالسَّيْفِ قَالَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا أَسْنَدَهُ بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْ هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا قَالَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ إِلَّا الْحَرُّ بْنُ مَالِكٍ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ بِهِ بَأْسٌ وَأَحْسَبُهُ أَخْطَأَ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ لِأَنَّ النَّاسَ يَرْوونَهُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ مُرْسَلًا
English Translation
Abu Zayd al-Ubulli narrated to us, he said: al-Hurr ibn Malik narrated to us, he said: Mubarak ibn Fadalah narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Abu Bakrah, may Allah be well pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said: "There is no retaliation except by the sword." He [al-Bazzar] said: This hadith - we do not know anyone who narrated it with a chain better than this chain from the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him. And we do not know anyone who said it from Abu Bakrah except al-Hurr ibn Malik, and there was nothing wrong with him. I think he erred in this hadith, because people narrate it from al-Hasan as a mursal [disconnected] report.
