أَخْبَرَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ أَبُو يُونُسَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ تُقَامَ الْحُدُودُ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِسْنَادٍ مُتَّصِلٍ عَنْهُ مِنْ وَجْهٍ صَحِيحِ الْإِسْنَادِ وَهَذَا الْإِسْنَادُ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ إِسْنَادٍ يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَدْ تَكَلَّمَ فِيهِ أَهْلُ الْعِلْمِ وَضَعَّفُوا حَدِيثَهُ
English Translation
Salih ibn Mu'adh Abu Yunus narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Umar ibn Waqid narrated to us, he said: Ishaq ibn Hazim narrated to us from Abu al-Aswad from Nafi' ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im from his father (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade the carrying out of legal punishments in the mosques. This hadith — we do not know it to be narrated from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) through a connected chain with an authentic chain of narration, and this chain is among the best chains narrated from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) in this regard, although the people of knowledge have spoken about Muhammad ibn Umar and weakened his hadith.
