قَالَ خَالِدٌ وَحَدَّثَنِي هَانِي بْنُ كُلْثُومٍ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كُلُّ ذَنْبٍ عَسَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَغْفِرَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَّا مَنْ مَاتَ مُشْرِكًا أَوْ قَتَلَ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كُلُّ ذَنْبٍ عَسَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَغْفِرَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَّا مَنْ مَاتَ مُشْرِكًا أَوْ قَتَلَ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا
English Translation
Ibrahim ibn Hani' narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn Yusuf, from Khalid ibn Yazid, from Safwan ibn 'Amr, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Jubayr ibn Nufayr, from Shaddad ibn Aws (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) who said: 'The wise person is one who holds himself accountable and works for what comes after death.'
