English Translation
Muhammad ibn Harb narrated to us, he said: Ishaq ibn Yusuf informed us, from al-Jurayri, from Abu 'Uthman, from Salman al-Farisi, who raised the hadith (to the Prophet), who said: Allah said: 'When My servant draws near to Me by a hand span, I draw near to him by a cubit. When he draws near to Me by a cubit, I draw near to him by a fathom. And when he comes to Me walking, I come to him running.'
