حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقُطَعِيُّ قَالَ نا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ نا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ الصَّادِقُ الْمَصْدُوقُ إِنَّ بَيْعَ الْمُحَفَّلَاتِ خِلَابَةٌ وَلَا تَحِلُّ الْخِلَابَةُ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ الصَّادِقُ الْمَصْدُوقُ إِنَّ بَيْعَ الْمُحَفَّلَاتِ خِلَابَةٌ وَلَا تَحِلُّ الْخِلَابَةُ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ جَابِرٍ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Quta'i narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: al-Mas'udi narrated to us, from Jabir, from Abu al-Duha, from Masruq, from Abdullah, who said: The Truthful, the Believed One said: «Indeed, selling al-muhaffalat [animals with artificially swollen udders] is deception, and deception is not permissible.» This hadith — we do not know it to be narrated from Abu al-Duha except from the hadith of Jabir.
