وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ أنبأ عَلِيٌّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مِدْرَارٍ ثنا عَمِّي طَاهِرُ بْنُ مِدْرَارٍ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَة�� عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ لَبَّيْكَ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ؟ قَالَ أَخٌ لِي قَالَ هَلْ حَجَجْتَ؟ قَالَ لَا قَالَ حُجَّ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ثُمَّ احْجُجْ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ هَذَا هُوَ الصَّحِيحُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَالَّذِي قَبْلَهُ وَهْمٌ يُقَالُ إِنَّ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عُمَارَةَ كَانَ يَرْوِيهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ عَنْهُ إِلَى الصَّوَابِ فَحَدَّثَ بِهِ عَلَى الصَّوَابِ مُوَافِقًا لِرِوَايَةِ غَيْرِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكُ الْحَدِيثِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ
English Translation
Ibn Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) heard a man saying: 'Labbayk on behalf of Shubramah.' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to him: 'Who is Shubramah?' He said: 'A brother of mine.' He said: 'Have you performed Hajj?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Perform Hajj for yourself, then perform Hajj on behalf of Shubramah.' Ali said: This is the correct version from Ibn Abbas, and the previous one is an error. It is said that al-Hasan ibn Umarah used to narrate it then retracted to the correct version, narrating it in agreement with the narrations of others from Ibn Abbas. However, he is an abandoned narrator in any case.
