أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ ثنا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عِيسَى عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ تَقُولُ لَا يُمْضَغُ الْعِلْكُ لِلصَّائِمِ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ جَدَّتُهُ أُمُّ الرَّبِيعِ وَالْحَدِيثُ مَوْقُوفٌ
English Translation
Umm Habiba, the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), said: 'Chewing gum is not to be done by the fasting person.' The Shaykh said: Her grandmother is Umm al-Rabi', and the hadith is mawquf (stopped at the Companion).
