أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ثنا بَهْزُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَنْ أَبَرُّ؟ قَالَ أُمُّكَ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ مَنْ؟ قَالَ ثُمَّ أُمُّكَ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ مَنْ؟ قَالَ ثُمَّ أُمُّكَ؟ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ مَنْ؟ قَالَ ثُمَّ أَبَاكَ ثُمَّ الْأَقْرَبُ فَالْأَقْرَبُ
English Translation
Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us... from Bahz ibn Hakim from his father from his grandfather who said: I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, whom should I treat best?' He said: 'Your mother.' I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Then your mother.' I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Then your mother.' I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Then your father, then the nearest relative and the next nearest.'
