أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ مِنْجَابٍ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمِنْقَرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَشَلُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا اسْتَسْقَى قَالَ اللهُمَّ اسْقِ عِبَادَكَ وَبَهَائِمَكَ وَانْشُرْ رَحْمَتَكَ وَأَحْيِ بَلَدَكَ الْمَيِّتَ وَكَذَلِكَ
English Translation
Abu al-Husayn Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Bishran narrated to us in Baghdad... from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say when seeking rain: 'O Allah, give water to Your servants and Your animals, spread Your mercy, and revive Your dead land.' Likewise.
