English Translation
Abu Hazim al-Hafiz informed us... from Nafi', from Abdullah ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to go out on both Eids with al-Fadl ibn Abbas, Abdullah, al-Abbas, Ali, Ja'far, al-Hasan, al-Husayn, Usamah ibn Zayd, Zayd ibn Harithah, and Ayman ibn Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with them), raising his voice with tahlil and takbir. He would take the route of the blacksmiths until he reached the prayer ground, and when he finished, he would return via the route of the shoemakers until he reached his house.
