وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا حَامِدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَامِدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ (ح) وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا مَكِّيٌّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا ثُوِّبَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَسْعَيَنَّ إِلَيْهَا أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَكِنْ لِيَمْشِ عَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ وَالْوَقَارُ صَلِّ مَا أَدْرَكْتَ وَاقْضِ مَا سُبِقْتَ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz narrated to us, Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, Hamid ibn Abi Hamid al-Muqri narrated to us, Makki ibn Ibrahim narrated to us. And Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us, Ahmad ibn Ubayd al-Saffar informed us, Isma'il ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Makki narrated to us, Hisham ibn Hassan narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Sirin from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'When the prayer has been called, none of you should hasten to it. Rather, let him walk with composure and dignity. Pray what you catch, and make up what you were preceded in.'
