أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصْرَةَ الْغِفَارِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ مَسْحُ الْحَصَا وَاحِدَةٌ وَأَنْ لَا أَفْعَلَهَا أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ مِائَةٍ نَاقَةٍ سُودِ الْحَدَقِ وَرَوَاهُ مُجَاهِدٌ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي مَسْحِ الْحَصَا وَاحِدَةً وَقِيلَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ؓ أَنَّهُ سَوَّ�� الْحَصَى بِنَعْلَيْهِ قَبْلَ الدُّخُولِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ
English Translation
Abu Bakr ibn Furak informed us, Abdullah ibn Ja'far ibn Ahmad informed us, Yunus ibn Habib narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us from Amr ibn Dinar from Abu Basrah al-Ghifari from Abu Dharr who said: Wiping the pebbles once — and not doing it is more beloved to me than a hundred black-eyed camels. Mujahid narrated it from Abu Dharr from the Prophet (peace be upon him) regarding wiping the pebbles once. It was also said from Mujahid from Abu Wa'il from Abu Dharr. It was reported from Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) that he would level the pebbles with his sandals before entering the prayer.
