حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ أنبأ جَدِّي أَبُو عَمْرٍو يَعْنِي ابْنَ نُجَيْدٍ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقْرِئُ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَا ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ أنبأ خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ أنبأ مَالِكُ بْنُ الْحُوَيْرِثِ اللَّيْثِيُّ ؓ أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَإِذَا كَانَ فِي وِتْرٍ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ لَمْ يَنْهَضْ حَتَّى يَسْتَوِيَ قَاعِدًا
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Buhainah narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood from the second rak'ah without sitting for the tashahhud. The people stood with him. When he completed the prayer, the people expected the salam, but he said takbir while sitting and performed two prostrations before the salam, then gave the salam.
