أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ مِنْ أَصْلِهِ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَاضِي وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أنبأ أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْخَزَّازُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ؓ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَفِي عُنُقِهِ حَلْقَةٌ مِنْ صُفْرٍ فَقَالَ مَا هَذِهِ؟ قَالَ مِنَ الْوَاهِنَةِ قَالَ أَيَسُرُّكَ أَنْ تُوكَلَ إِلَيْهَا؟ انْبِذْهَا عَنْكَ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz, Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami — from his original [manuscript] — Abu Bakr al-Qadi and Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr informed us; they said: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Sinan narrated to us: Uthman ibn Umar narrated to us: Abu Amir al-Khazzaz reported to us, from al-Hasan, from Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him), that he entered upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a ring of brass on his arm. He [the Prophet] said: "What is this?" He said: "It is against al-wahinah (a sickness of the arm/shoulder)." He said: "Would it please you to be entrusted to it? Cast it away from you."
