عَنْ أُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ وَكَانَتْ بَعْضَ خَالِاتِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَمَعَهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ نَاقِهٌ مِنَ الْمَرَضِ وَفِي الْبَيْتِ عِذْقٌ مُعَلَّقٌ فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَتَنَاوَلَ مِنْهُ فَأَقْبَلَ عَلِيٌّ يَتَنَاوَلُ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ دَعْهُ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يوَافِقُكَ إِنَّكَ نَاقِهٌ قَالَتْ فَقُمْتُ إِلَى شَعِيرٍ وَسَلْقٍ وَطَبَخْتُهُ فَجِئْتُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ كُلْ مِنْ هَذَا فَإِنَّهُ أَنْفَعُ لَكَ كَذَا قَالَ أُمُّ مُبَشِّرٍ وَكَذَلِكَ قَالَهُ إِسْحَاقُ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْحُبَابِ 19562 وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقُطِيعِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ثنا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ أُمِّ الْمُنْذِرِ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَمَعَهُ عَلِيٌّ ؓ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ وَكَذَلِكَ قَالَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَسُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ فُلَيْحٍ وَكَذَلِكَ الْمُعَافَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ فُلَيْحٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْحُبَابِ وَهْمٌ البيهقي ١٩٥٦١: عن
English Translation
From Umm Mubashshir al-Ansariyyah, who was one of the maternal aunts of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered upon me accompanied by Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), who was recovering from an illness. In the house there was a hanging bunch of dates. The Prophet (peace be upon him) stood up and began eating from it, and Ali began reaching for them too. He said: 'Leave them, for they are not suitable for you - you are still recovering.' She said: So I prepared some barley and chard and cooked them, and brought them to the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: 'Eat from this, for it is more beneficial for you.'" He said "Umm Mubashshir" and similarly said Ishaq al-Hanzali from Zayd ibn al-Hubab. And Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Ahmad ibn Ja'far al-Qati'i informed us, Abdullah ibn Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated to us, my father narrated to me, Abu Amir narrated to us, Fulayh narrated to us from Ayyub ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Sa'sa'ah, from Ya'qub ibn Abi Ya'qub, from Umm al-Mundhir bint Qays al-Ansariyyah who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered upon me accompanied by Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)" - and she mentioned it with similar meaning. And similarly Abu Dawud and Surayj ibn al-Nu'man said from Fulayh, and similarly al-Mu'afa ibn Sulayman from Fulayh. In the narration of Zayd ibn al-Hubab there is an error.
