أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى الْخَفَّافُ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَمُوسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالُوا ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَالْحَسَنِ ابْنَيْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ مُتْعَةِ النِّسَاءِ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ وَعَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Ali ibn Isa narrated to us, Abu Yahya al-Khaffaf, Muhammad ibn Amr, Ibrahim ibn Ali, and Musa ibn Muhammad narrated to us, they said: Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to us, he said: I read before Malik, from Ibn Shihab, from Abdullah and al-Hasan, the two sons of Muhammad ibn Ali, from their father, from Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him): "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited mut'ah (temporary marriage) with women on the day of Khaybar, and the meat of domestic donkeys."
