English Translation
Abu Bakr ibn Furak informed us from Abdullah ibn Ja'far, from Yunus ibn Habib, from Abu Dawud, from Muhammad ibn Aban, from al-Suddi, from Rifa'a ibn Shaddad who said: Amr ibn al-Hamiq al-Khuza'i (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: When a man gives another man a pledge of safety for his life and then kills him, I am free of the killer even if the slain was a disbeliever.
