أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ نا حَجَّاجٌ هُوَ ابْنُ مِنْهَالٍ نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ وَحُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ قَالَ لِلْبِكْرِ سَبْعَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلِلثَّيِّبِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ
English Translation
Abu Zakariyya bin Abi Ishaq informed us... from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, why do you not choose from among the Quraysh? He said: Do you have something? I said: Yes, the daughter of Hamzah. He said: She is not lawful for me; she is the daughter of my breastfeeding brother.
