Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Raqāshī > Abū ʿĀṣim > Sufyān > Ayyūb And Khālid > Abū Qilābah > Anas > Qāl Rasūl Allāh Ṣllá وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الْعَلَوِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ أنا أَبُو حَامِدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْحَافِظُ نا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ نا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ وَخَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الْبِكْرَ عَلَى الثَّيِّبِ أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا سَبْعًا وَإِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الثَّيِّبَ عَلَى الْبِكْرِ أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا ثَلَاثًا
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us... from Abdullah bin Abi Bakr, who informed him that Amrah bint Abd al-Rahman informed him that Aisha, the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), informed her that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was with her and she heard the voice of a man seeking permission to enter the house of Hafsah. Aisha said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, this man is seeking permission to enter your house. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: I think it is so-and-so - a foster uncle of Hafsah through breastfeeding. She said: O Messenger of Allah, if so-and-so were alive - her foster uncle - could he enter upon me? He said: Yes, for breastfeeding makes unlawful what birth makes unlawful.
