وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا يَحْيَى أنا يَزِيدُ أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ حُدِّثْتُ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا ؓ كَانَ يُنْزِلُ بَنِي الْأَخِ مَعَ الْجَدِّ مَنَازِلَ آبَائِهِمْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ غَيْرَهُ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr informed us: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us: Yahya ibn Abi Talib narrated to us: Yazid ibn Harun informed us from Hisham ibn Hassan from Muhammad ibn Sirin from Ubaidah al-Salmani from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding a woman who died leaving her husband, mother, full brothers and sisters, and maternal brothers and sisters. He said: The husband gets one-half, the mother gets one-sixth, and for the maternal siblings one-third. He said: The full siblings share with the maternal siblings in their one-third.
