وَبِالْإِسْنَادِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ ذَهَبًا قَالَ شُعْبَةُ أَوْ قَالَ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي أُحُدًا ذَهَبًا أَدَعُ يَوْمَ أَمُوتُ دِينَارًا إِلَّا أَنْ أُرْصِدَهُ لِدَيْنٍ.
English Translation
With the same chain, he said: "I would not like to have gold equal to Mount Uhud" - Shu'bah said: or he said, "I would not like to have Uhud itself as gold" - "and leave, on the day I die, a single dinar, except one I have set aside for a debt."
