English Translation
Hajjaj told us: Layth told us: Uqayl told me, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Ubayd, freedman of Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, who heard Abu Hurairah say: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "For one of you to bind a bundle of firewood and carry it on his back and sell it is better for him than to beg a man who may give him or refuse him."
