حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُسَافِرْ امْرَأَةٌ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمٍ تَامٍّ إِلَّا مَعَ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ.
English Translation
Waki' told us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b told us, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A woman must not travel a journey of a full day except with a mahram (an unmarriageable male relative)."
