حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْأَشْقَرُ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ قَابُوسَ بْنِ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ الْجَنْبِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ لَمَّا قَتَلْتُ مَرْحَبًا جِئْتُ بِرَأْسِهِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
English Translation
It was narrated that Hadrat 'Ali (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: When I killed Marhab, I brought his head to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
