حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ مَوْتُ النَّجَاشِيِّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ وَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا.
English Translation
When the Prophet (peace be upon him) was informed of the death of the Negus (al-Najashi), he prayed the funeral prayer over him, and they lined up behind him, and he said four takbirs over him.
