حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي حُيَيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُورَةُ الْمَائِدَةِ وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ فَلَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ تَحْمِلَهُ فَنَزَلَ عَنْهَا.
English Translation
Abd al-Samad narrated to us: Muhammad narrated from Sulayman from Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father from his grandfather that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Whoever is cured by a treatment that is forbidden, Allah does not place healing in what He has forbidden.
