English Translation
Isam ibn Khalid told us: Shu'ayb ibn Abi Hamzah and Abu al-Yaman told us - Abu al-Yaman said: Shu'ayb ibn Abi Hamzah informed us - from al-Zuhri: Salim ibn Abdullah told me, from Abdullah ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to glorify Allah (in voluntary prayer) while on the back of his mount, not caring in which direction he was facing, and he would gesture with his head. Ibn Umar used to do likewise.
