English Translation
'Abdullah ibn al-Walid told us: Sufyan told us, from 'Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn 'Aqil: I heard Ibn 'Umar say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, dressed me in a Coptic garment and dressed Usamah in a striped silk garment. He said: Then he looked and saw that I had let my garment drag, so he came and took hold of my shoulder and said, "O Ibn 'Umar, everything of one's clothing that touches the ground is in the Fire." He said: So I saw Ibn 'Umar wrap his lower garment up to the middle of the shin.
