English Translation
Hajjaj ibn Muhammad told us, from Ibn Jurayj: Nafi' informed me that Ibn Umar used to say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: None of you should eat from his sacrificial animal beyond three days. He said: And Abdullah, when the sun set on the third day, would not eat any more of the meat of his sacrificial animal. Hajjaj told us, from Ibn Jurayj: Ibn Shihab informed me of that from Salim, regarding the Hajj sacrifice and the sacrificial animals.
