حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَبَّقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْخَيْلَ فَأَرْسَلَ مَا ضُمِّرَ مِنْهَا مِنْ الْحَفْيَاءِ وَأَرْسَلَ مَا لَمْ يُضَمَّرْ مِنْهَا مِنْ ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ.
English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us: Isma'il ibn Umayya narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, held a horse race. He set off the horses that had been conditioned from al-Hafya', and set off those that had not been conditioned from Thaniyyat al-Wada' to the mosque of Banu Zurayq.
