حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تُسَافِرُوا بِالْقُرْآنِ فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَنَالَهُ الْعَدُوُّ.
English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not travel with the Qur'an [into enemy territory], for I fear that the enemy may get hold of it."
