English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar, from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to take the pledge of allegiance on hearing and obeying, then he would say, "As much as you are able," and he said another time: "He would prompt one of us [to add], 'as much as I am able.'"
